Eagle Copters Maintenance Ltd. (ECML) is a Calgary-based company offering complete helicopter fleet management support to operators since 1975. We offer purchasing, selling, leasing, maintenance and overhaul of helicopters in the global marketplace.
We are looking for 14 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our team immediately. Our main office and work location for this position will be 823 McTavish Road NE, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 7G9. These are permanent, full-time positions of 40 hours/week with the potential for overtime and an initial salary of $75,000 - $80,000/annum. Once individuals obtain a valid Transport Canada AME license, salary offered has the potential to increase to $90,000 - $100,000/annum. Additionally, individuals may qualify for a discretionary yearly salary increase based on performance and abilities.
The language of work for this position is English.

In this position the AME will report to the Maintenance Manager and be responsible for the maintenance and overhaul of our helicopter fleet.
Specifically, the main responsibilities for this position include:
- Performing repairs and overhauls on leased and third-party aircraft in compliance with the standards of airworthiness and the quality requirements of Eagle Copters;
- Performing both routine scheduled, and emergency maintenance as required on all aircraft;
- Troubleshooting, testing and identifying all problems in the aircraft, and subsequently repairing identified issues;
- Documenting issues along with steps taken for resolution and outcome;
- Collaborating with the QA Manager regarding aircraft work order reviews or internal company audit(s) as required;
- Ensuring all work tools and equipment are in good condition and can be operated safely, and requesting replacement or repair as needed;
- Requesting the purchase of necessary spare parts and supplies as needed;
- Conducting airworthiness inspections and dual inspections, FOD inspections and aircraft final QC inspections sign-outs as required by Eagle Copters policies and procedures;
- Ensuring EASA, JCAB, DGAC aircraft/component maintenance is performed in accordance with approved supplements, and correct maintenance release statements are used;
- Applying the instructions of the applicable regulatory, OEM and company manual(s) to execute assigned maintenance and repair tasks, including replacing and installing mechanical, hydraulic, fuel, and flight control systems;
- Ensuring the final maintenance release in the aircraft logbook has been accomplished in accordance with the regulatory body it is registered too, TC, EASA, JCAB, DGAC or FAA standards as applicable; and
- Assisting in training other employees and contributing to maintaining the company’s positive work environment.
For this role, you must have the following qualifications:
- Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) M license or qualify to obtain license;
- Valid Transport Canada Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) pass or eligible to obtain;
- Recent and extensive experience working in an AME capacity; and
- Experience working on or have an approved aircraft type endorsement for, at minimum one of the following aircrafts: Bell 205, 212, 407, 412, S-76, A-Star, or AW139 aircrafts.

Eagle is looking for a talented Avionics Technician, AME-E to join our rapidly growing operations.
Responsibilities:

Report to the Lead Hands, Avionics Manager and Director of Maintenance on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft.

Perform installations of avionics equipment and systems on aircraft.

Troubleshoot and repair aircraft discrepancies in compliance with manufacturer's standards

Program, configure and test various products
-
Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with company and Transport Canada Regulations and quality standards.

Accurately complete all paperwork in accordance with published procedures, manuals and documentation.

Maintain the work area in a neat and tidy condition
Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:
-
Graduate of an approved Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Avionics course and hold a valid TCCA AME-E license.

Bell family of aircraft, Sikorsky S76 & Leonardo AW139 experience an asset.

Experience with aircraft heavy maintenance and modifications an asset

Must be able to obtain and retain a Transport Canada Airport Pass (RAIC)

Must be Eligibility for Controlled Goods.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to work safely alone or within a crew

Understand technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints

Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Component Shop Manager / Supervisor. The Component AME / Technician will be responsible for component inspections, repairs and complete component overhauls.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- AME license or a diploma or certificate from a course in an appropriate field.
- Bell approved training/experience with BHT204/ 205/ 212/ 412/ 407 and 206 Series is an asset.
- Ability to understand and complete certification processes on Component technical records as per company policies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as a proven team player.
- Utilize, understand and follow the instructions of the applicable approved manuals to carry out tasks.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Carry out component shop Work Order Procedures.
- Review, check Component History Cards for current times removed from the A/C, TSN, RIN.
- Efficient use or entering all work order details, parts ordering, services, discrepancies and rectification.
- Disassemble, Clean, Inspect parts.
- Carry out requirements to prepare a Tear down report.
- Review Airworthiness and Alert Service Bulletins for compliance as required.
- Ensure all parts used have proper documentation, certification.
- Assembly Components / Sub-assemblies as required.
- Ensure all build, inspection sheets have been filled out and Dual Inspections have been carried out.
- Update Technical records and entries have been complied with.
- Able to comply and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Make recommendations on policies and procedures to support continuous improvement.
- Follow direction and work independently.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Overtime may be required.
